SAVE! SAVE! SAVE!

As many of you may know, I will be relocating as of  Friday the 20th. I will have a couple techs available when needed if remote support isn’t an option. As of today I will be running my old price set many years ago which will save you $20/hr. Take advantage of the time and save on getting your computers at home or business running up to speed before my departure!

What is chkdsk and why does it appear?

Every now and then you might get a window and it seems to be scanning the drive for errors. The “check disk” utility is used in Windows to scan through your entire hard drive and find any problems. Depending on the command it might just report problems and in other cases it might try to fix it if needed. It’s good to run a scan every month or two depending on the usage of the computer. I run the utility on every computer I work on in case there are issues with the hard drive especially if it seems to be running with bad performance. When was the last time you checked performance on your PC? Click here to book your next maintenance check up on your PC.

How Clean is Your PC?

How often do you run a check up on your computer? In most cases the answer would be never or maybe now and then when you get around to it. Hopefully that’s not how you treat your car that you also rely on daily! This is the result of a PC who’s AntiVirus isn’t updated along with Windows. If you notice that your PC is starting to act slow or there’s annoying pop ups, visit http://www.tekvirtuoso.com/contact-us.html and submit your request online.
